New Diablo III Class: Monk

Diablo III

Diablo III – a game of action role –playing, this game actually takes place in the dark dreamy world of the diablo series that is called Sanctuary, this is a story about the world that was saved twenty years ago by some unknown heroes in Diablo II and a little bit different from the previous ones .

Blizzard Entertainment is now going to expose a new Monk character class in upcoming action series Chris Metzen, vice president of Blizzard’s development said that he feel proud by introducing this new Diablo III that will show a story of a Monk in a heroic fight with a devil in very valiant manner and used swift attacks and influential magic to destroy his enemies and spatter blood to add horror in the story.

There has been a lot of speculation that the next announced class would be something similar to a Rogue, combining elements from the Diablo 2 Amazon, Assasin, and Druid. Instead of a possible Rogue class having elements from the Assassin, the Monk shares similarities with this class along with elements from the Paladin. When Blizzard said that we would love this class, they were right, the Monk looks fantastic.

The Monk is a class that directly contrasts the Diablo 3 Barbarian. Instead of being slow, tough, and hard hitting, he is very quick, fragile, and attacks very fast. He also uses Holy Magic in conjunction with his melee fighting style. The Holy Magic he uses do not include any healing spells, but instead compliment his martial arts fighting style with debuffs, defensive, and offensive moves.

This Monk class trailer was released on this year’s Blizzcon:
